so i just watched the joe strummer tribute on the grammys. and it was fucking great. becca and i were singing along, so happy when dave grohl did the "uh uh uh uh uh uh!" part in the middle. oh fucking christ. springsteen singing the clash. it's enough to get me wet just sitting here.

besides the strummer tribute, i'm really not in the frame of mind for this shit, so just a few notes.

*go out and buy (or burn, in my case) the postal service's CD "give up." the music of figurine, the lyrics and vocals of deah cab for cutie. i don't think it gets much better than this. the pinnacle of dance music for smart people. and you can kiss my ass if there's a problem with that statement.

*i'm addicted to welch's white grape raspberry juice. it's like kool-aid for kids. it's barely good for you, the way i like my foodstuffs.

*i got to go to p.f chang's this weekend and it was so fucking good.

*i got so high last night that i was convinced my right hand would never come out of a Sunchips bag. man, it was scary at the time.

*in the process of sorting some things out. cutting some people out. you know.
